I fixed the golf cart. Still didn’t work when I put new motor brushes in, so I went and removed the ECU, then the solenoid, countless hours of research, then removed the forward / reverse selector. It was dirty and lots of copper dust and I wasn’t getting much continuity on the copper studs. Cleaned it up tightened the copper studs and got it working again!
See the difference with new brushes!
When I took it apart
Clean and added some grease to make it turn smoother.

Brake cleaner and a soft steel brush.

Wow, those brushes were pretty gone, you accidentally found the perfect time to replace them.
